So that's where that gif is from..
I always thought that guy was a news reporter
I never knew where that picture came from, so many questions were answered today.
This movie is called Scanners right?
This movie is called Scanners right?
Yep, that's the name of it. I wondered what that gif was from for a long time too.
Fun fact: The man on the left is Michal Ironside, the voice actor of Sam Fisher from the Splinter Cell series.
I hear Meshuggah. Djent'd to death
It's such an amazing song, I see why he asploded.
Well, if you give Meshuggah as the first tip to someone new to the genre, you're doing something very right and very wrong at the same time. :v:
Funfact, sociologically, heavy metal and rap are usually associated to being adored by those from poorer situations and with lower intelligence. However those in higher situations with high intelligence absolutely hate it. Proof: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/55424186/bryson_-_anything_but_heavy_metal.pdf
Funfact, sociologically, heavy metal and rap are usually associated to being adored by those from poorer situations and with lower intelligence. Very decent of the video creator to give credit on the footage used.
Funfact, sociologically, heavy metal and rap are usually associated to being adored by those from poorer situations and with lower intelligence.
this is what you think metal is: that's death metal.
But that's implying that Jim Carrey is an idiot, CC are his favourite band!
Gotta love Meshuggah. Bleed is a pretty awesome song too. So I approve of this video.
But that's implying that Jim Carrey is an idiot, CC are his favourite band!
i don't have anything against death metal and most bands that open to my band band are pointed towards death thrash. i'm just saying that people mix it up just way too much. they're such different genres yet people still mix stuff up.
Funfact, sociologically, heavy metal and rap are usually associated to being adored by those from poorer situations and with lower intelligence.
Why do (typically) metal fans hate rap and rap fans hate metal then?
They dont, atleast in my experience. I've got white friends that love Slayer and Pantera but they also love Wu tang. I used to by weed from a young black dude that loved hip pop like Lil Wayne and Gucci Man but his favorite band was Death. Metal and Hip Hop have always intertwined, you just don't see it like you used to today.
scanners is a great movie
Gotta love Meshuggah. Bleed is a pretty awesome song too. So I approve of this video.
Koloss is gonna blow ObZen out of the water easily. Listen to the two singles.

anthrax with public enemy beastie boys featuring kerry king (from slayer for those who don't know who he is) plus bands like annihilator that just sound rap at some points. [editline]8th March 2012[/editline] not to mention ratm, etc... rap has always been friends with metal. it's just that nowadays it's about kanye west and those fucking faggots. [editline]8th March 2012[/editline] there are still "rap metal" bands out there like biohazard. and they're pretty fucking good, it's just that we don't care about the underground anymore. or the underground is just way more underground than it used to be.
Why do (typically) metal fans hate rap and rap fans hate metal then?
Different levels of stupid? Consequentially I listen to both... [editline]1[/editline] This statistic is bullshit.

Dude, thanks for posting that. I've never heard of those guys and that sounds fucking amazing.
Koloss is gonna blow ObZen out of the water easily. Listen to the two singles.
Bro I know. Break Those Bones Whose Sinews Gave It Motion is fantastic.
Funfact, sociologically, heavy metal and rap are usually associated to being adored by those from poorer situations and with lower intelligence.
Funfact, sociologically, heavy metal and rap are usually associated to being adored by those from poorer situations and with lower intelligence. Is it just me or did he look exactly like a younger jack nicholson
Funfact, sociologically, heavy metal and rap are usually associated to being adored by those from poorer situations and with lower intelligence.
