HOWEVER it's entirely possible for there still to be a BB in the chamber, especially since some guns these days include o-rings that hold BBs within the hopup chamber when reloading. Had the guy been ever so slightly more careless or unlucky that could have been a massive fuckup.

They probably emptied the ASG beforehand, seeing as the guy held the trigger down and nothing came out of it.
