First off, sorry if the title is misleading.
Has anyone noticed that when someone is going through your MP3 and they see a song from Rock Band, they say "Hey! You stole this song from rock band right?" What the fuck do you mean I stole this song from rock band. Didn't you notice the entire discography of the band that I've been listening to for years yet?
"Oh my god this band is so fucking great I love them! I'm such a hardcore metal fan now!" Alright, let's pretend they're talking about Children of Bodom. Name a song other than the song they know. Name an entire fucking album if you have to. "Hatebreeder." This will result in a clueless look and a stupid fucking response consisting of "I don't like them that much though."
If you play rock band and don't do any of the above and actually know the songs and the band and whatnot, this isn't towards you. (obviously enough)

I hate how people play rock band and gaytar queero instead of playing real instruments. I've flipped out at my brother and a friend so many times that I've convinced them to stick to playing real guitar (because they do play, but they started to get side tracked with these stupid games) and stop wasting time playing rock band/gaytar queero.

There are several bands where I only like one of their songs, but I don't go around talking about them and making myself out to be the biggest fan ever. It's when you do things like that that piss off the hardcore fans.
