The organisation confirmed 142 new cases of the disease had been reported since 19 August, as well as 77 deaths. Already more people have died in this outbreak of Ebola than in any other. At least 1,427 people have now died in the outbreak so far, with the number of cases now standing at 2,615. Speaking at a news conference in the Liberian capital Monrovia, Dr Fukuda said combating the disease would take "several months of hard work". "We haven't seen an Ebola outbreak covering towns, rural areas so quickly and over such a wide area," he added. Also on Friday, Nigerian authorities said that they had detected two new cases of the virus, both spouses of medical workers who had direct contact with a man who died from the virus in Nigeria after arriving from Liberia.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-28905382 Slightly worrying for people down there.

Unfortunately it's hard to help these people when they riot and destroy facilities.
Unfortunately it's hard to help these people when they riot and destroy facilities.
And when they think it's a witch's curse or that the virus doesn't exist. Such a backwards place.
can we all finally die? this is getting old
Well if they believe shit then let it exterminate them
Unfortunately it's hard to help these people when they riot and destroy facilities.
Regardless, they're only receiving help to isolate the infected until a cure or vaccine is created. Otherwise the virus could've probably spread to other countries by now.
Maybe this is stolen weaponised Ebola?
Maybe this is stolen weaponised Ebola?
No, this is definitely natural Ebola. The point of weaponized Ebola, or any other sort of weaponized disease, is that it kills quickly, does not have a long natural half-life, and only spreads in a tight containment. If this were weaponized, it would have wiped out one city within a week and that would have been the end of this, rather than a steady stream of dead, dying and new infection along the way.
Maybe this is stolen weaponised Ebola?
killing 1400 random African people doesn't have much of a benefit to it, and if "they" wanted to just terrorize various countries for no reason then they probably would have come forward by now

The couple people that have recovered and received that wonder drug were strong and in top notch facilities

Take weaponised ebola, modify it for long life. See if it actually works before going to the expense of smuggling it somewhere?
