Does the hitbox go all the way to the top of that thing?
Of course not, you fucking retarded news writer.
Hats do not have hitboxes...

Jesus Christ, take a chill pill you nerd, it was in good humor and a light hearted comment.
The Benefactor’s Kanmuri ($19.99)
Wow, that's a lot for a hat.

The Magnanimous Monarch is actually $99, so in contrast it's cheap! I wonder if this is some kinda wacky marketing psychology going down here.
At least the hoarders will be contributing to something for once.
IMO they all look ridiculous.
Again, the art style has been thrown out the window.
Think about the personality of the characters, and why those hats don't suit them at all.
What the hell, if this becomes incentive for people to donate, why not.
Though I suppose it's good their actually going to donate the cash
Automerge..
I would probably buy one just for the charity, i don't care how bad they look...the soldier one anyway.
For once, I approve of the addition of new and soon-to-be exclusive hats. At least those who feel the need to have special hats constantly will be actually donating to a good cause.
That's the first real good thing Valve does with Hats in TF2.
Nice thing to do.
I stopped playing TF2 because of the hats, but I might just buy one of these. GJ Valve
I think its nice they are giving a smaller community a chance to donate to the relief fund.
I was expecting it to be a wave of sort...
But then i thought that was too soon.

or donate straight to red cross and avoid the middleman altogether

i think its more easy to buy a hat(which donates money) than putting billing information for donation to japan

i dont know anything about how online payments with paypal/internet related payment stuff works so yeah please dont kill me

True, don't need a fucking hat to motivate myself in donating money. Seems selfish to me:
"OH I ONLY DONATE IF I CAN PROFIT OUT OF IT MYSELF!!!11"
The one on the heavy in the picture looks pretty slick.
buying it now.

I thought if you use PayPal you are invisible to the other side. but if you do bank account transfer you aren't?
If someone could shed some light on this It'd be appreciated.

selfishness is such an arbitrary concept, life in itself is selfish. eating, drinking, breaking, etc. everything we use up is something that somebody else cannot use, and even if we didn't use it and they did, would they be selfish for not letting us or someone else use it?
tl;dr well done valve I luv u long time
might buy one for a friend of mine
i find it so fucking funny that people pay this much money for a cosmetic item that you can't even see
lmao

Yeah, I mean it's not like it's for a good cause or anything, that would be stupid.
lmao
Donation shit like this pisses me off, because I know a most people aren't donating because they like what the cause or whatever, they're donating for the item, prize, object, ect., but they're using "it's for charity" to justify their "purchase".

Too bad most people probably won't care what the money is going to.
Another set of Japanese-themed hats. Came right after Shogun 2 came out too.
