Some polls say Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are neck and neck in the White House race - but for one group it is already over.

Using maracas, coca leaves and a hallucinogenic brew, a group of Peruvian shamans has determined that Mr Obama will be re-elected on Tuesday.
Wearing traditional Andean dress, the group of 12 medicine men and women gathered on Monday at the top of Lima's San Cristobal hill for a ceremony.
They burned incense and rubbed a poster of Mr Obama with flowers and the common rue plant, which is supposed to bring good luck.
They also assaulted a poster of Mr Romney with maracas and a sword.

"The apus (gods of the hills in indigenous mythology) tell us Obama will be re-elected," predicted Juan Osco, known as the Shaman of the Andes.
The shamans sang, whistled and danced in a circle for journalists, who came and went as the ceremony continued.
They also chewed coca leaves, a traditional ceremonial and medicinal plant since Inca times that helps fight altitude sickness.

Mitt Romney was given the thumbs down
oh well fuck, now it's totally confirmed
I find this more reliable than the surveys and polls.
Shit, might as well not even vote.
"The apus (gods of the hills in indigenous mythology) tell us Obama will be re-elected"
that sounds fucking badass

goddamn they are hardcore
Great source.
This is brilliant. Hey, there was a poster for the labour candidate for the local mayoral election on a lamppost outside my house.
They also assaulted a poster of Mr Romney with maracas...
Just getting my maracas.
...and a sword
Dammit, I don't have a sword. Will a kitchen knife do?
They also chewed coca leaves, a traditional ceremonial and medicinal plant since Inca times that helps fight altitude sickness.
Um... I've got a Yucca?
Maybe I should leave it to the professionals, I'm clearly not cut out to be a political analyst.
Welp. Guess it's all over now. Everyone go home, there's nothing to see here. The election was over before it started.
These filthy heathen Mexican apes stealing our jobs support Obongo in his plan for total destruction of our freedom and liberty!
I love the video in the source, guy smoking a cigarette, guy drinking from his flask haha
Well they have a 50/50 chance of being correct so this isn't impressive.
No Shit, says everyone else
Romney comes off as a flake, and he is, while Obama doesn't, and almost anyone that thinks about who they'll vote for (Not including those devout to one side or the other) will pick Obama. My only gripe with Obama is You must buy health insurance, or be fined, and the fine goes up every time, and the kicker is the IRS is going to enforce it

I thought this was how all political polls got their results.
I thought this was how all political polls got their results.
Well, all the ones who get the correct answer do it this way.
oh hey they were right
oh hey they were right
This is proof enough, I'm converting religion and becoming a shaman.
Damn Obongo getting his witch doctors to use black magic to win his election!
Poor old reliable and truthful Romney would never do such a thing!!
kind of a 'no shit' election
They had a 50% chance of getting it right.
There are quite a lot of conservatives who predicted Romney months in advance.
This just in: Peruvian shamans proven to be more reliable than Fox News.
