According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Brian Downing went to the 33-year-old male victim's house in the 9600 block of Brassie Court late Wednesday night, to find that he had another male friend visiting. Investigators said at that point, Downing grabbed a screwdriver and stabbed the victim. The victim's injuries were not considered life threatening, according to the sheriff's office report. While detectives have not released a specific motive for the attack, they did confirm that the suspect and victim had some type of romantic relationship. Downing was arrested and transported to the Land O' Lakes jail, and is charged with attempted murder and armed burglary. [/release] Why the long face?
