Disgusting... Like Adopted father like son I guess.
sounds like the father fucked up the kid
sounds like the father fucked up the kid
aren't victims of abuse more likely to commit abuse themselves?
As a Penn State student, it is disgusting how many people use this as an insult during the football games... I'm looking at you OSU. Sad that he had to do all this though
aren't victims of abuse more likely to commit abuse themselves?
I remember when I was a young kid a boy asked if I would "put my penis in his butthole" and said it felt really nice. I was disgusted but now that I've grown up I realised that kid was raped.
aren't victims of abuse more likely to commit abuse themselves?
Yeah, it's the gift that keeps on giving
aren't victims of abuse more likely to commit abuse themselves?
Yes.
aren't victims of abuse more likely to commit abuse themselves?
this is a really awful piece of misinformation that's spread that serves only to vilify victims of abuse causing them to be treated as rapists themselves most victims do not go on to cause abuse. some of them do. that doesn't suddenly become 'if you got raped you become a rapist'.

Obviously not all abuse victims become abusers themselves, but it seems to be one of the many ways that abuse can be internalized.

Of course they really don't, but still.
It would have to do with a trusted member of the family telling them that. They don't really have the agency to form their own opinion on something thrusted upon then.
