• Youtube copyright claims - I am ok with not monetizing video, will I still have problems?

Hey, not sure where is best place to ask but this seems the right one as this forum section prob has most youtubers. So anyway, I just recorded some basic gameplay of need for speed most wanted 2012, obviously there is in game music playing which got instantly recognized by Youtube ContentID as I uploaded it. I wasn't gonna even monetize it because I know I can't and I would get in shit tonn of shit if I tried, anyway youtube gives me warnings that that video has claimed music content and is auto banned in Germany (for w/e reason). If I just leave video on my channel, will that be ok? or will my account get into bad standing or something?
It could. If the copyright holder for that song claims copyrights, you will get a strike no matter monetization or not.

Derp, just checked other youtube videos of NFS MW gameplay, that may explain why they play with no music. Guess I will retake gameplay.
Copyright claims are okay, and you don't have to mute the video. However, there will be ads on that video placed by the copyright holder so they gain revenue from that specific video. If you fight the claim and lose, you have a good chance of getting a copyright strike. So you can mute the music / video, get actual copyright allowances for the material used, or allow the copyright claim to take revenue off of the ads (You get nothing from those ads played).

Seems to work, better than muting in any case, that's some magic right there. Cba to retake video just because of no music, takes long to render 30 minute long 60fps video @ 1080 and to upload. So either muting or trying that youtube magic.
Try the Youtube magic, see what happens.

I hate Youtube's automated system and trolls. One of my videos got muted for using copyrighted music it didn't even have any music
