A friend told me about this game, the trailer has already been out for 3 weeks, but i haven't seen it until now. the game uses textures which were scanned from real life.
reminds me of goatse
So it's a game about graphics
So it's a game about graphics
doesnt look like visuals are the only thing they worked on
it's a shame it looks like such shit because they add fucking blue to everything
Looks gorgeous, but I have this feeling that the final game will look much different than that.
jesus christ these visuals makes me dizzy
I'll reserve any and all hype for when I can see a video of what it looks like when someone's actually playing the game.
Looks gorgeous, but I have this feeling that the final game will look much different than that.
probably prerendering and shit
it's a shame it looks like such shit because they add fucking blue to everything
It's an abandoned industrial area, blue fits. Rather have blue than gray

GTA IV's texture mods and shit are based around it and countless others.
It's an abandoned industrial area, blue fits. Rather have blue than gray
no it doesn't it suffers from the same shit Dues Ex / Battle field / COD has by having bad filters if you're going to try and make a game look "Realistic" don't add hundreds of filters onto the thing and then brag. It looks insanely shitty and makes the entire point of realism go exactly in the opposite direction. it looks like the entire game was flooded by blue koolade and then drained
I don't know about anyone else, but I feel like trying to get even more realistic graphics in this day and age is just pointless when it comes for games, we're already at a point where techonology allows us to make any graphic style of game, wether it be cartoony to realistic, we're already at a good point graphically, why not start working on what makes a game actually realistic - AI's and world properties? I realise it's because it's much more difficult, of course, but that's what would actually be *realistic*.
I got kinda hyped from the trailer, but apparently parts of it are live action. For a moment i thought this was on UE4, but apparently it's not.
the game uses textures which were scanned from real life.
Bitch please:
Maybe it's supposed to be a simulation, that would explain all the silly digital distortion effects.
the game uses textures which were scanned from real life.
games have been doing this since forever
what is real? 2015
Doesn't the FOX engine do the exact same thing?
I immediately recognized the setting. And now I see it's the same YT user, which explain things. But yeh, everything they use is properly 3D scanned or likely used a base.
why do they keep switching between the real video and the rendered video? Are they trying to trick you into thinking it's the game? I don't get it. It's obvious as fuck as well.
-merge-
I immediately recognized the setting.
Yeah, it looks pretty, but it's lifeless. Throw in some physics and destructible environments. Then you have yourself a killer technology.
the game uses textures which were scanned from real life.
Just like every realistically artstyled game ever. EDIT: Unless you mean the levels themselves. Which aren't textures at all, they're levels.
"Get Even: a game with real next gen graphics" And the trailer is in 720p.

The creators of this trailer look like they've put in a lot of effort to make sure it makes no sense at all.
Fucking casuals man, breaking the game industry to pieces
Casuals are where most of the money comes from, without casuals there wouldn't be much of a game industry. Just accept that not everything on the market is marketed for you, I'll never play a CoD game because I expect good gameplay, balance and innovation from the FPS I play. Honestly the only thing that ticks me off is when a good old franchise gets dredged up to be ruined by the modern publishers, I'm looking at you dungeon keeper. It's a slap in the face honestly, a lot of ancient titles have a really small, dedicated fanbase, which doesn't want the casual modern day experience, so what do the companies gain by ruining them? The new generation of gamers probably haven't even heard of 90% of the old franchises that get resurrected, so it's not like the brand name is putting weight behind these new games. It's terrible.
no matter how good this game looks it seems to be another boring shooter that tries to be dramatic where you play a soldier trying to save all the torture victims and murder all the terrorrisssttss ;( :( 10/10 goty i personally despise this "new" trope of playing a soldier
