University bosses have been forced to put up a fence around a lake to stop a swan attacking students. And the 4ft tall bird has even been branded a racist on social media, because students claim it only seems to attack foreign and ethnic minority passers-by. I have been a swan handler. Their wings are strong as in if they aren't both secured down and flapping around, the bird is damn uncontrollable. Their unsanitary claws are the worst and will shred you and your clothes to pieces. Swans can also transmit avian flu and from someone who has contracted a flu like illness from handling them, it was an experience i will never forget and something to be wary of.

Make that swan the mascot of the BNP
