I mean seriously, what the fuck? Just look that those Muppets. This is what we show to children?
Kids laugh at funny looking stuff.
A+ thread.
it's 40,000x better than any of today's shit
Obviously all abstract, esoteric or even remotely genuine creativity is the result of drug use.
Mr. Rogers was on cocaine, so was Robert Munch.
I'm on PCP right now, and it doesn't seem to be doing mu-wnrbkladfsdfjgrneht cnIU
It's funny because the muppets are odd for normal perception and tame for people on acid I would have thought if Jim WAS on acid he wouldn't be like "And there'll be a frog. And a dog. And they'll be uh puppets yeah that's wacky" Wouldn't he be like "FUCK'N RAINBOWS AND SWORDS THAT SHOOT DOLLAR BILLS THAT LIKE GODDAMN EXPLODE INTO COCA COLA BOTTLES AND THERE'LL BE OLD PEOPLE GETTING RUN OVER BY TRACTORS"
This is so stupid, whenever someone has a vivid imagination, suddenly they're on drugs. Grow the fuck up, OP.
I used to be a huge fan of the Muppets.
Many people discovered/created something good/useful after drug use. But still, you shouldn't assume that anything was result of drug use.

The muppets are fairly strange, but not that strange.
Not really. Now Tim Burton? HE was (and possibly still is) on some serious drugs.
I think Jim Henson was doing something, but I the chances of him having done acid are quite probably doubtful. The Muppets weren't that trippy. And despite my earlier protest to the contrary about how trippy it was, I do think it was trippy enough for me to be able to picture him blazing.
Don't fuck with this stuff, best show ever
I wouldn't be surprised if he was.
While, I on the other hand, wouldn't be surprised if Tim Burton does.
Jim Henson also made the original Cube film back in the 60's. Its pretty awesome. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4859599834099008342#
.gif in your avatar looks better with jim carrey's face
That's Carl Sagan. Cartoons back then were so much better than today's. They were also a hell of a lot more imaginative.
Not really. Now Tim Burton? HE was (and possibly still is) on some serious drugs.
No he just never grew out of the angsty teenager phase. [editline]11:31AM[/editline] Has anybody watched the Liberace episode of The Muppet Show? Those fucking bird people. :ohdear:

Why is it you people view other people's creativity as weird? What exactly is not weird to you?
