Looks like a new trailer for the upcoming sandbox game, Prototype 2. I gotta say, the graphics do look improved and better physics.
Fucking Awesome  Most definitely gonna buy
Damn it, my wallet is not ready for all these new games.
Last game was really fun, this is a definite look.
All that flickering and lack of Aniso and AA is terrible it really is. I expect dumb ratings and disagrees from console sympathizers but that shit is ass ugly.
You're playing games wrong.
Im sorry but my 32xAA, 16x Anisotropic, highest settings disagrees. Better graphics enhance immersion. Flickering and shitty textures do not.
If it's anything like the last game, it gets a rent, at best. But here's to hoping that they improve on it enough to make it a fun game.
There's no escaping that the buildings look like ass. The AA/Anisotropic isn't an issue; there will most likely be adjustable settings for them in the full release, if the developers aren't complete idiots.
if the developers aren't complete idiots.
In today's market this is looking increasingly unlikely.
Why can't they give the new main character a unique appearance he looks like Alex Mercer except with his hood down
Im sorry but my 32xAA, 16x Anisotropic, highest settings disagrees. Better graphics enhance immersion.
It enhances immersion in a game where you can kill hundreds of people using supernatural powers bestowed upon you by some bizzare virus?
When you go to watch a movie would it be alright with you if I was talking on my phone next to you? Would it be alright if I continually stood up in front of you to scratch my ass? Probably not because you are IMMERSED in the movie and my distractions pull you away from it. In the same sense flickering backgrounds, low res textures, and jaggy edges distract me from a possibly good game. The current generation of games has so much potential being squandered by limited hardware.

Since you are playing on a PC you obviously won't play the console version, so why the hell are you complaining since you can't know how the PC version will look?
The buildings are pretty ugly and boring, too. I, also, was not impressed. But I shall wait and see.
Well, the buildings looks more colorful and has detail. The graphics and textures looks better than this.
Better graphics enhance immersion. Flickering and shitty textures do not.
So why am I more immersed in some old PlayStation games than say, Metro 2033? Also what?
Im sorry but my 32xAA, 16x Anisotropic, highest settings disagrees.
Big deal, I have a good computer too. It's like you're assuming I'm some hardcore console enthusiast. If I want to get immersed in a game I play it like a visual book, if that makes sense. I don't need every pixel to be perfect to prevent myself from bitching in public about it.
Hoping this will be good, the first prototype was fun but it didn't live up to my expectations.
Hey guys you need 32x Anti-aliasing to get into a game. It's a must.
looks meh
Last game was fun as fuck but short. I loved just running through the town disguised as old people grabbing their relatives, running up buildings and then smashing their head against a wall. I hope this game is better in a lot of ways..
