Thanks to a fuck either at Livestream.com or Xsplit there was some massive lag. Even though that 2 days ago i was streaming fine at 1080p with 60 FPS.
Anyway we ended around 1h 37m and next week Saturday we will continue with the stream in hopefully lagfree 720p quality.
It has become a annual thing for me to stream Gaki no Tsukai as soon Team Gaki is done translating the entire episode and as you may have guessed its that time of the year again. They have finished translating and i am revving up that stream to stream it once again!

Gaki no Tsukai is a Japanese variety show in which 5 famous Japanese comedians take part in a series of challenges and competitions, the show has been going on since 1989 and they already celebrated their 100th episode in 2010 and to this day they are still counting with no signs of slowing down.
If you wish to see one of their episodes of Batsu games then please use Google and look up something like "Gaki no Tsukai English subtitles" or visit the Team Gaki website.

On Friday 22-5-2015 (This Friday basically) the stream will occur on my Livestream channel.
The stream will start at 7 PM GMT 2+ (Amsterdam) and end around 1 or 2 AM the following day. The show itself is 5 hours long with a 20 minute break so people can stretch their legs and stuff.

I can't wait
There's still 1 part left untranslated of the newest batsu though? Part 9 was released 3 days ago, part 10 is the last one which isn't out yet

According to their latest they are going to upload the entire thing with subs tomorrow. And before that post they posted a message with just "Done" in it so i assume they are done with it since they haven't done anything like this.
I was on the site for more than half an hour before I actually read the OP.
This one made me pity them way to hard!
i saw the prison one not too long ago and oh my god it's so great
[sp]apparently the "waiting room" is a recurring thing in all the episodes[/sp]
oh wow thanks for reminding me about this year's one
There's some fantastic moments in this batsu but overall they keep getting weaker each year. The producers seem too afraid of change so we end up with the same skits every year.

Even Yamasaki getting slapped every year is getting old.
On a completely different note: Who remembers the episode when they made Tanaka feel like a horrible father which made him burst into real tears while everyone laughs at him? That shit was fucked up..

That's wrong though. The video was his son saying what a great father he is.
The real breakdown came after he read how the kid signed the letter
Tanaka - Thai Kick

This soo much, Things like the 24 gym were incredible.
Aww fuck yis, waited for this!
Ohh boy, it feels like it was forever ago since the last stream. I can't wait for next Friday.
I haven't seen this show but I've heard many things, so this will be a wild ride
I watched each part as it was released. It's great but unfortunately doesn't really have a "memorable" part. Well, except one now that I think about it. So yeah, except that one it's fairly standard parts that are still hilarious but you know what to expect.
I need to rewatch it as the whole thing. I want say I found the beginning a bit slow but I watched those parts weeks away from each other.

I've only seen the first hour or so but it seems odd that they use the bus for only a couple of skits/acts, it wasn't even a 'proper' prison bus.

You should watch the older ones first. Otherwise you'll miss out on a lot of jokes and cameos.

Definitely check the older ones. These last few follow very similar structure and that's what great about the older ones. They have parts you don't expect.

Tanaka felt horrible after his son said he got bullied by the other kids at school because his dad wasn't cool.

Tanaka - Thai Kick
Then the editing team threw a "His beloved orders a Thai kick" disclaimer just to rub salt in the wound
Cruel, but fucking brilliant

Any recommendations as to which ones I should watch in specific?

Start with 24-hour Tag and then just watch them in chronological order from there.

Technically Haunted Hotel and Pie Hell aren't batsu games but they are still funny as hell so whatever.
[editline]18th May 2015[/editline]
Also keep in mind that starting with Police Station that these get longer and longer and take more time to watch. The average length of the earlier ones 2000-2005 is around 2 hours. 2006-2013 it's between 3 and 5 hours to watch.
Egashira 2:50 is on top form this year.

To specify, the 2003 is "No-Laughing Hot Spring Inn" and the 2004 is "No Laughing in Yugawara"

Well he'd still get the right videos if he google "gaki no tsukai onsen", but you are correct.
I've also noticed that the title of those seem to vary from site to site. Most times it's just shortened to what I have.
nice my brother loves these guys I should give it a look as well
Heads up for those not in the know, the tenth and final part was released.
Although it still relies heavily on a formula, I enjoyed it
IMO the sumo wrestler teacher bit was the best bit
Change of plans, we are starting one hour earlier.
