Oh god yes, this looks great
Also the soundtrack sounds well-done too

i mean. everything just seems absolutely great. if this goes the right way it's going to end up being everything i longed for in a game.
Well, nice environments, I guess. Any gameplay videos out yet?
It looks nice, but the world looks dead. It has good atmosphere, and the graphics look well done. An amped up Skyrim with some ENB's.
I'd rather see gameplay instead of graphics, because I hope we all know, that is what makes a game that lasts.
It looks nice, but is it gonna bring back the Origins gameplay, or choices with a bigger impact? It's still controlled by EA so doubt it.

the combat is basically a mix of.. I want to say Witcher, with -some- Origin gameplay?
I saw a few early videos of the guy pausing, picking people to put where, and activating spells
It's probably not required, but .. who knows.
I'm absolutely blown away with how games in the next year-ish are going to look.

Skip to ~20:45 to see that the DA:O style combat has returned.

It's very close to Origin gameplay, but game difficulty can be set to such a level that strategic overview is not required, or set to a level where you use it a LOT (this option is also available in Origins). I'd also guess they'll (re-)add the option where the game automatically selects convo options for you, just like in Mass Effect.
Watch some Dev videos, they explain or hint towards a lot of mechanics already. They're returning to the Origins roots and are throwing in a whole bunch of new shit. Hence the "Inquisition" title and not "Dragon Age 3" - they want to break off from the mistake that was DA2.
I liked SWTOR, a lot actually, but after ME3's ending and that travesty of DA2? My faith in Bioware's plummeted. This really is my last chance of forgiving them for anything. Hope it comes out okay.
I'd be lying if I said it doesn't look great so far. The game looks great graphically, the story looks like it's more of a continuation of Origins than anything, the open world looks like a great way to take it, switching between action combat and DA:O combat looks like brilliant choice. But... Looks can be real deceiving.
I think Bioware can some something amazing here if they pull it off, or at the very least something good. They seem to really understand their mistakes with 2 and want to make it up to us. Time will tell if they manage it or plunge the series into the grave even harder. But for now I am cautiously- and I mean CAUTIOUSLY- optimistic.
I'm actually feeling kinda sorta good about this. All they have to do is not fuck up literally every single goddamned part of the story like they did with DA2, and maybe, just maybe, this could be pretty good.
and by don't fuck up i mean throw fenris down a well and never mention him ever again
