I mean, yeah Battlefield 3's singleplayer mode was nothing to write home about, but it at least had more things to do than Modern Warfare 3's singleplayer. Now, don't think I'm some rabid Battlefield fan, I enjoy both of the game series, but Modern Warfare 3 [I]really[/I] dropped the ball, there's almost no redeeming factors to it in my opinion.

Okay lets calm down, MW3's singleplayer was so much better than BF3's, it was literally awful. Yes they are both linear and generic, but at least MW3 is fucking fun and exciting (in my opinion)
I skipped till the end and it seems it was all about some black screen with "BF3" and "MW3" on the sides.
No gameplay, no nothing. Useless video.

Except they're two EXTREMELY different play styles so comparing them is pretty dumb.

Extremely different play styles ? wow, you're hilarious, it's not like they're both shooters and they both have generic crap as a campaign or anything. Very similar generic crap too.

I agree they are quite different, but in a general stance of just "This was more fun than..." MW3 was more fun.

one is a large-scale, objective-based game with a focus on team play and vehicular combat.
the other is a pick-up-and-play arena deathmatch shooter with a focus on class variety
just because they're both military shooters does not mean they're the same game by any stretch of the imagination. their singleplayers are just equally garbage
