too long, didn't watch/got frustrated at the ad between 0:46 and 1:00: the $1400 keyboard is very pretty but not that great of a keyboard
That $1,400 one is goddamn beautiful, and the craftsmanship is very cool, but I'd never pay that much money for what is pretty much a novelty.
Even if I was drowning in dollars I wouldn't buy the 1400 simply because the thing has one of those shitty ass tiny backspace buttons. Really pisses me off when I go to backspace and hit = on some of the other keyboards in my place (i've got like a dozen for... reasons) because of weird hand pose nonsense.
If it's going to be $1,400, at least give it a significant amount of useful features. I recently spent ~$15 on a keyboard and it seems to be better than the expensive keyboard.
$1360 wood on a $40 keyboard. Both are pretty shit.
If it had NKRO buckling springs it would be worth it. And a non fucked up layout.
It needs to feature the sleep and power shortcut buttons right above the arrow keys. then we'll talk.
All flash and no features it seems
$1360 wood on a $40 keyboard. Both are pretty shit.
lmao the fucked thing is that there are cheap mechanical keyboards that are decent quality the base keyboard should have been at least 100usd quality keyboard [editline]27th January 2018[/editline] You could spend about 50usd and still get a GOOD keyboard, and that's not with shitty membrane keys either
You could just buy wooden keys for your mechanical. They probably exist somewhere.
I'm sure someone out there specializes in 3D/saw/laser etching wood We have an endless supply of 3d printed esc keys that look ugly as sin
Why is there a "wake up" key on one of these keyboards Am I in a coma and someone is trying to send me a message
Why is there a "wake up" key on one of these keyboards Am I in a coma and someone is trying to send me a message
you're in a coma, WAKE UP, YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP
$1,400 and you don't even get a full sized backspace key What the fuck
$1,400 and you don't even get a full sized backspace key What the fuck
that is a good thing if its a smaller keyboard, my backspace is tiny but, its a 40%, so it has to be the location combined with size of the spacebar though seems like a way bigger sin, even tiny keyboards have more spacebar than that lmao and then the enter key is bigger than normal bigger than normal, making the right shift and backspace both small as hell
I prefer wired keyboard and mouse.
That spacebar though... Imagine using that for a game; you try to hit the spacebar in an attempt to jump, only to end up tabbing out of it.
$1,400 and you don't even get a full sized backspace key What the fuck
That's actually part of the "standard" japanese keyboard layout (Also the stubby spacebar): [thumb]http://xahlee.info/kbd/i/layout/Apple_keyboard_Japan.jpg[/thumb] Still, you would thinkk for $1400 they'd have a few options available :v:
