• Did I lose my hearing on my right ear?

So I accidentaly dropped a heavy object on the floor while I was in an amusement park and it made a LOUD BANG when it hit the floor and since then I've had this pressure in my ear and some loss of hearing. Did I rupture my eardrum? I don't think so, because I would figure that it would hurt alot more. Any ideas? No Tinnitus either, just some pressure.
If symptoms persist after 3-5 days, see a doctor.
Have you tried plugging your left ear? Try getting a friend to punch you in the right ear?
How big was this object and what was it?
Have you tried plugging your left ear? Try getting a friend to punch you in the right ear?
That doesn't sound healthy. :raise: Could it be possible that the loud noise got the wax in my ear to move so that it's not clogging my ear?
you should hear a ringing sound if it defend you. but id see a doctor anyway. (didnt get that info from games. my grandpa is def in his left ear)
Tap your right temple (LIGHTLY YOU DUMB FUCKER) about 20 times in a row, if that doesn't work, do what Kode says.
Sort of related, but I hate it when you're having a shower and you get water in your ear, then it sounds like the whole world is muffled.
And then when the water comes out of your ear I'm usually in bed... It goes all over your pillow...
What did you drop?
How big was this object and what was it?
A rather large heavy glass statuette that fell on a glass table. Didn't break anything though.

Let me take a look.
Ask someone to whisper in your ear, if you dont hear anything you're fucked
I do hear with it, but it's all soggy and shit. Like you would be listening to a song in mono with your headphones.
If there is a ringing noise in your ear (like a continous high pitched tone) then it will be okay and dissapear in 3-5 days. I've had some experience of that. Making really small pressured bubbles with cling film and popping them in peoples ears, I did it in mine and I was slightly deafened. Ear wax doesn't have much to do with it really unless you hear everything muffled but much louder (sound travels faster through denser materials). That's about it. Get well soon!
You will definitely want to go to the doctor.
You will definitely want to go to the doctor.
Is this some sort of attempt at mind control?
