A thread for reenactors, living historians, and people who want to join the hobby.
What is reenacting?
Reenacting is a hobby which involves dressing up in old military uniforms from all the way back to the Roman Empire, the Italian Wars, the American Civil War, the Great War, the Soviet-Afghan conflict, and many more.
Reenactments exist of nearly every war in history, and throughout the US and Europe, there are many dedicated groups of living historians and hobbyists who faithfully and genuinely recreate historic battles like Austerlitz, Hastings, Concorde and Lexington, Gettysburg, Monte Cassino, and many more.
