Another day, another piece of "art". No mudkips this time. http://Keaton2008.deviantart.com/art/Kanye-Wolf-160527053 I understand that the whole VMA is not really interesting anymore(?), but I made this nonetheless. It's for a website called Halolz: we usually post stupid jokes about Wolf from Star Fox, mainly puns related to his "Can't Let You Do That" quip, and the whole Kanye thing blended the two for awhile. Been wanting to sit down and do this for awhile. Anyways, I based this off the Kanye Bear, obviously. This was my first real exercise with the Pen Tool, despite having Photoshop since the dawn of time. (Photoshop meant something back then) The glasses took the most time, I pretty much copied off of the original pic... probably too much, but you can see some differences. But I wanted to make it look as authentic as I could. But yeah. here it is. Critique? Suggestions? Actual art help?
Pretty interesting. Simplistic, yet not bad.
I just think the color of the shutter shades doesn't contrast enough with the wolf. Otherwise I suppose it looks pretty stylish. Edit: The right-side isn't hollowed out but solid. Maybe you forgot or haven't finished that. Just pointing it out.

Originally, it was hollowed out... but positioning the eye like in the original pic was a bitch and I never liked it. Then I remembered that Wolf had a eyepatch/scouter.... As well as allowing me to sneak away from it, I thought it added more to the Wolf aspect of the joke. Also, I thought that people would've pointed out that Wolf only has one eye if I didn't. So in trade, I didn't have to worry about positioning the eye correctly and people got a more accurate depiction of Wolf! Everybody wins!
Ah, I hadn't realized Wolf had the eye thing on the other one. It makes sense now.
