I was under the impression that the master servers were under a separate entity but operating under the GameSpy name? I guess that's not the case, but I'd be more apt to ask each company what they'll do - GameSpy isn't hosting for free, but on contract. It'd be better to ask each company what they'll do accordingly rather than a blanket shutdown.
