okay if I'm going to make a post which isn't just furious ire, this seems like the lawyer was somehow badly unprepared the difference is very obvious if you've seen them both before and know which is which - you need to be fairly close to them and having the thing actually turned on would help seems like an honest but faintly embarrassing mistake, but nothing to go "oh holy shit jesus this is the end for samsung!!!" about

Electronic devices generally look similar, why fix what isn't broken. At a certain distance monitors, tvs, phones, whatever all look pretty much the same.

Yep, Samsung's lawyers royally fucked up. Get ready for an injunction banning them in the US too. Our judges don't know shit about technology, so they'll listen when the Apple lawyer says "See!? Even they can't tell them apart, they totally copied us!"

Apple seeing based on hardware is amazingly stupid. All only-screen devices will look the same in some degree. I think Apple has a point when it comes to software though. Samsung [b]changed[/b] Android to look a lot more like iOS. Using my dad's Captivate for a year, it is pretty obvious what Samsung tried to do. Either way, this article is pretty stupid.
