Summary below. I don't want to ruin it for you but it's not really a spoiler, so click at your own risk.
[sp]When film critic Roger Ebert lost his lower jaw to cancer, he lost the ability to eat and speak. But he did not lose his voice. In a moving talk from TED2011, Ebert and his wife, Chaz, with friends Dean Ornish and John Hunter, come together to tell his remarkable story.[/sp]
What an inspiring man.
Ebert is certainly one of the greatest movie critics ever.
Holy crap, I haven't seen this guy since he left Ebert and Roeper. I didn't know the extent of his illness until now. Although he is handling this really well, its still a fucking shame to see that.
Poor Guy
A bit creepy
I dunno, he looks pretty damn happy

I'm such a softy, my eyes started to water slightly when his wife got all emotional. Heart-warming video though.

Yeah.
Most people who view this thread apparently can't get past the fact that his jaw is missing due to cancer and listen to his story, but rather rate funnies.
They're :c00l:

And he is actually happy.
If you view his facial expressions you can see that he's performing a lot of smiling/laughing gestures throughout the talk.
You really have to be brave to endure what he's endured and still have a good sense of humor and an optimistic view on life.
I can't really watch with... his mouth... like that.

Also he looks like

Then open a new tab and listen to it. He's a persistent man trying to share his story so it benefits others, at least spare the twenty minutes of your normal life to hear him out.
I watched it, it was great.

How did you go from incredibly immature to a well mannered in a matter of minutes...?

The video changed me, bro.
In all seriousness, in my first post, I was just making a funny observation, then in the second post I was being serious. Like just then.
An amazing and very inspirational person, So much has happened and he's still as funny as ever. I hope they finish his voice and it sounds normal so that he can speak proper again.
