Came to work today, I work at a store called "Albertsons" well I was doing my job as a cashier when all the sudden this lady comes up with a cart full of groceries. I do my duty and scan the groceries. Once finished I tell the woman the total.
Now before I finish, I would like to mention that this particular person appeared to be completely sane. Well, she looks around and says she left her money in her vehicle. This happens, so I tell her I will hold her transaction while she goes out and finds her money.
4 minutes later she returns...
...with a cucumber
I ask her if she found her money, she replies "no, but I have paid for this"
Ok?
She then proceeds to go out again to find her money. It's around 10pm at this moment and there are other cashiers to take care of customers. I wait another couple minutes and she returns with a single pill and says she would like to pay with it.....
Uhhh, at this point I refuse that form of payment and tell her she needs to pay with cash. She goes out to her vehicle once more. By this time I have notified my manager and he has called the police.
The woman returns ONCE more but this time with a whole BOTTLE of pills and says she will pay with it. I tell her I will speak with my manager to see if it's possible (to prevent her from leaving) and proceed to the safe where he is. Couple minutes later the cops come and talk to her.
I have no idea what the fuck she was on...but damn that was the weirdest shit that's happened to me in a while.

What was the color of the pills if you don't mind me asking... Some types of pills go past prices of $45 on street sometimes. It's a fucked up business in my oppinion... For example, a small pill bottle of shit like Oxycoden will go for $1100 over shelf.
I remember Albertsons being around many years ago in Texas. I haven't seen one in a long time though.

Yeah she was clearly out of it, but not at the same time...so weird like she wasn't crazed at all. She was acting perfectly normal while doing clearly weird shit like the cucumber ordeal.
