New Halo 5 Guardians gameplay from HaloFest with commentary by Ready Up Live. People were often complaining about certain gameplay mechanics inserted into the game ("ads wtf? is this cod?") so this video should clear some things up.

60 fps is hot
The SMG turned into an AR-57
I like it
Looks so much like call of duty, it is really bizar.
those end of round celebration animations look awful
like im expecting one of them to bring out a case of natty light and a jumbo bag of doritos or some shit
Reminds me of black-light for the post-game taunting.
honestly looks pretty fun and still halo so that's good news. still, i kinda like to think about the days of halo 3 and that kind of pacing

Doesn't help that CoD decided to go a similar direction with how the movement works. CoD has a lot more manoeuvrability now and Halo's weapon systems seem to be less arcadey.
Soon CoD and Halo will be the same game.
The boosts and ground pound attacks look pretty badass
So I guess characters have these mobility options permanently rather than needing armor abilities?
Looks pretty great.
That said, wasn't a fan of how tiny that map was. And its definitely quicker than Halo as we all remember, but that's not necessarily bad in my eyes, just different. Its got elements in there that promote gunplay beyond just run+gunning with the best reaction times winning ala CoD (such as no shield recharge while running, ADS/Hipfire being same accuracy, more bullet spongey than CoD, etc).
I think it will be one of those 8/10 kind of games.
Halo won't be a genre defining game anymore
I like the way it looks, but it's nowhere near good enough to warrant getting rid of my 360.
