• What's a good gaming chair that isn't expensive?

Ok, not one of those stupid speaker in the chair chairs, but instead, a chair that is comfortable while gaming preferably with a neck rest. Lately I haven't been gaming alot, so when I do, I notice my neck tenses up a bit. Is it because of the lack of a neck rest? I'm thinking leather (summer, it's hot) or mesh (uncomfortable?) Leather: http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/301437/True-Innovations-Mesh-Mid-Back-Chair/# Mesh: http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/647810/Realspace-Carnaby-High-Back-Mesh-Chair/ These are NOT gaming chairs, look at them before you comment.
I just use an old office chair. Has armrests but nothing fancy.
-snip-thought you where tlaking about an actual gaming chair
Phonebooks stacked on top of each other.
Well.. a chair for PC gaming that is cheap.
Do this.
Mesh: http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/647810/Realspace-Carnaby-High-Back-Mesh-Chair/
I had that chair once. Very uncomfortable I must say.
My chair now is better than that.
I'm usually hunched over when I'm playing games, so it really doesn't matter what fantastic advances in ergonomic design the furniture companies came up with.

A guy built that for himself didn't he? It looks like a piece of shit how embarrassing to have in your house!
the real question is how do you get out of it?, theres no doors
the real question is how do you get out of it?, theres no doors
He doesn't get out. What were we talking about?
A La-z-boy recliner. So comfortable you can sleep on it!
Office chairs are the best. And get your desks from Viking.
yeah, office chairs are usually the best infact, im sitting in one now
And get your desks from Viking.
What? Link.
Just get some shitty chair. No point in buying the "Ultra leet 5000 gaming chair xtreme". Its just a chair. I use this 10 year old chair, with no arm rests, the fabric is all ripped and in strings, and the foam is coming out. Its not about the chair, but the ass in the chair.
I have a nice office chair. Like the one's you see in The Office. But I want a neck rest... read the op, people.
You don't need one, you just need to sit properly. And gaming chair, seriously? Office chair all the way. You can get a fancy one too. But gaming chair, are a waste of money.
I dont really get why you need a gaming chair.. I used a kitchen chair before I got this one. I just picked up some executive office one for like 60 bucks at Office Works. It works fine, so I'd probably do the same if I were you.
I use a 200 year old rocking chair :v:
Ok screw this, editing the op.
Leather should be fine, unless you play topless and actively sweat during your time in the chair.. I run an air conditioner, which keeps me (And the computer) pretty cool. edit: whoa automerge [editline]09:45AM[/editline] To answer your new question, your whole body is probably tense due to the intense games your playing (assuming this only happens when your playing games) I have no issue with my neck in normal browsing, but if I start to struggle on games I get leg cramps and such.
Ok screw this, editing the op.
You still need to learn on how to sit properly.
Both say mesh? True Innovations Mesh Realspace® Carnaby High-Back Mesh Gonna start using edit in this thread :v:

Well not really, but it just gets somewhat sore. My palms also sweat lots. [editline]12:18AM[/editline]
You still need to learn on how to sit properly.
What does that have to do with anything?
You don't need something fancy. Hell, for quite a while, I was able to use an old folding chair for gaming until I found a good office chair at a thrift store. So, before looking at office chairs and dropping $80 on a chair, take a gander at your local thrift store, you might find something nice for real cheap.
People forget that it's just where you're putting your fat sweaty ass and pissing, no point in being expensive
I don't piss in my chair. Anyway, office chair. Make sure is has straight arm rests, curved ones are very uncomfortable.
Guys, everyone knows that if you want to be good at PC games you got to be fast. Nothing makes you fast like a pair of gaming gloves!
