Now if I only had an Oculus Rift.
Oculus Rift is the next generation people. This is what our kids will talk about. But when they grow up, they will be like:"You have Oculus Rift? Damn that's old school!"
This gotta be a stoners dream
It doesnt seem to have big enough FOV, but i dont know, i haven't tried the rift myself
just tried it, very impressive but has down sides. - disorienting when moving your head (no head tracking) - spent too much time in clouds, looks good on a monitor but its just a grey blur on the dev kit. 1080p may fix that though.. All in all it's got a lot of potential and if you could actually look around that would be a whole new level. Imagine watching a movie and you can look wherever you want.
Also gave it a shot with my Rift. Thing is, videos that are badly compressed, at 30 fps and without head tracking are not really a great demo to view in a HMD. Plus clouds aren't the best way to experience the 3D effect. Like z0mbify said, it's more like a gray blur.

A possible solution is to widen the distance between the two cameras.
