• I just found out I live in the Australian Broadband MPs electorate

So basically, I live in the region the shadow minister of broadband and electronic industry is elected in. http://tonysmithmp.com/ That guy. He's one of the big people in the whole internet censorship crap, and I'm essentially able to walk to where he lives. I want to demonstrate somehow, but I have literally no money, and I don't want to do anything illegal. I'd prefer to do something funny rather than just standing outside with 3 or 4 of my mates yelling 'Bring back the porn' and looking like douchebags. I'm dead serious here, if you guys give me something I can do that won't get me arrested I'll try and organize it. So Facepunch, I turn to you, what should I do about the growing oppression of my country?
Their is noting you can do, son.
Quick, serious, I need replies before the internet police comes and takes me away D:
Post (gay underaged) porn mags through his letterbox.
He's the shadow minister, don't protest to him, talk to him and explain that he will get your vote if he opposes the current government policy.
stick some signs out side his house at night...
:frown: Was nice knowing you.
I've emailed him twice with my concerns, no replies, I thought about sending a letter, but did some research and found that most mail never gets read.
Are you old enough to vote?
November this year I come of voting age.
put a sign outside his house 'I'M WATCHING YOU' do this for a few weeks and then eventually put scarier shit there. use your imagination and scare the fuck out of him. i have no idea how this helps stop internet censorship but he'd shit bricks anyway.

Mail a letter, every bit counts. And you are guaranteed a reply, even if it's a pre-prepared letter you know that they have them made and know it's an issue, the more they send the greater they know the issue is.
November this year I come of voting age.
You're going to miss the election, just.
FFFFFFFUUUUUU All the more reason to pull some stupid stunt, if I can't vote I'll raise awareness by being a dickhead.
Schedule an interview with him and have a good talk with him about your views and what you think should be changed.
But that's not the internet's way :saddowns:
It's the proper way though; He is the guy that wants to know what people want, so he can get more votes. If he says publically that he will remove any censorship of anything, then people will like him and vote for him next election. And he probably doesn't know people are opposed to the censorship
But that's not the internet's way :saddowns:
Fine then, egg his windows and shit in his postbox.
assassinate him
Actually, you'll probably get more attention by interviewing him because you are underage. The whole "not old enough to vote, but I care heaps about this issue" thing works great with politicians.

Hint: For better results, use a ballista.

The Australian, Courier Mail, Daily Telegraph etc, Channel 10, ABC, SBS, Channel 9, Channel 7.
Stupid internet giving me serious suggestions to solve a serious issue in real life. Fine, maybe I'll organize some kind of meeting with him somehow.

throw shit on his windows [editline]11:54AM[/editline] preferably diarrhea
burn down his house [editline]10:56PM[/editline] im serious
Kill him. It's the only way.

Hahahahahahahaha Oh man Ahahahahaha. You're fucking hilarious man, you haven't seen many Australian news sources have you?
Tell him that the Internet isnt any danger and the only danger are gays
he has nothing to do with the plan, it's all stephen conroy
