The Final Frontier, their newest studio album, is out now. Go buy it!
Iron Maiden are coming here to Portugal next summer, Its going to be amazing. Im going to buy the tickets as soon as possible.
Definitely the biggest band around right now, the only thing I don't like about them is their guitars, they're too lets say, basic, man
I love Maiden. "El Dorado" was my birthday song this year.
My favorite song by them is probably "Hallowed".

My favourite songs are The Clansman and Wrathchild. Though I've really really had it with this band. You know how there are people who like different styles of music? Some like rock, others electronic, some like metal. Then there are those who like Maiden. And nothing but Maiden. And it's everything the talk about! It's so annoying to talk with those people about music. :3:

Ignore the guitarists, the drummer and the bassist could stand on their own without guitarists. The bassist if by far the most musically talented person in Maiden.
Steve is great, but I don't have any problems with the guitarists. What are you on about?

Guilty as charged, sorry, About half my music collection is Maiden and the other half is other stuff. I'm not quite as bad as liking nothing but maiden, I like a range of metal and rock (and Michael Jackson pop) but my main band is Maiden.

No problems with them, I was quoting the guy who said the guitarist where a bit basic, aimed at him, As a bassist Steve is my idol.
Why is Bruce just so god-damn awesome
It's a real shame I didn't go to Sonisphere this year, it would have been kickass

I went to the one in Sweden. Weather was so bad I left after Alice Cooper. But I have already seen Maiden before and I don't care about Mötley Crüe. The highlight of the day was Anthrax. Totally rad and awesome. They even played some Heaven & Hell - tributing Dio.

You blew off Maiden for anthrax?
You only skip Maiden if Dio is playing. And he's dead.

13:30 Anthrax

Now before you say I'm crazy or whatever, I'm just telling you the weather was bad. Wayyy bad. It was literally the worst day of the whole summer.

I was talking to a guy who went to the one in Finland and apparently Slayer played through a hailstorm

Haha yeah, Finland was even worse. They had to cancel Motley and Maiden. Alot of people got injured. One died.

Dude. That's fucking metal
iron maiden just sound cheesy, i think it's more of a thing that you could only like back when it was relatively new sound
Went to the July 12th concert at Madison Square Garden.
Quite possibly the best night of my life. Ever.

Don't talk about Paul like that, he can get very senstive about that sometimes...

Paul was too punk for the heavy metal scene. Bruce has fitted Maiden perfectly since the day he joined.
Trust me, you don't want to set him off, and I don't want to get the fucking tranq gun out again...

If he gives a shit what people think of him he obviously isn't heavy metal enough. :smug:
:downsbravo:
this band sucks ass
"hey baby"

disregard this post
Steve is just so amazing.
He can play so fast cause he uses his ring finger as well when he picks, a lot of people can't do that
Yeah these days Paul is a gigantic toolbag, I've seen him twice in the last year and a half and his stage presence is awful. He cannot sing anymore, he is too unfit to put on a decent show (uses transylvania as an offstage break time), the shit he says to the crowd is so fucking annoying and he thinks everyone from Australia loves AC/DC. He was awesome back in the day but now he's a fair bit a loser.
I found Paul made Iron Maiden (album) sound too American, I'm not sure whether it was the lyrics using American versions of word and American themes but Iron Maiden sounded like an album by an American band.
There is nothing wrong with it, but using British terms/themes applies to me more.

Running Free sounded like they were from the heart of America.
I LIVE in America and I agree that this just doesn't fit them properly.
