The game is literally the best game I've ever played. It's so fantastic, amazing, gorgeous and beautiful.
TB can get a bit... Exaggerated... To say the least.
That said I've heard its a pretty cool game and it doesn't look half bad. But is it what he's making it out to be? I guess I cant say without having played it myself.

The way he's describing it seems pretty similar to my experience with Portal 2 and that remains my favorite game so far. Might have to pick this up sometime if it's on sale.

I hate what gaming has become.
It's a silly statement I'm aware but the game is 2 hours, controlled through a gimmick, has some of the most bare puzzles I've ever seen in a game and just.
Ugh. It's okay to like it but I wish there was another term because when I think of games I think of stuff like Metal Gear Rising or Mario or something. These stories can be engrossing but calling it GOTY when there's little game in it annoys me. Same reason why The Walking Dead bothered me. Fantastic story and I loved the characters but there wasn't much actual game there.

He has said he's a very mechanically driven gamer, and Bioshock: Infinite, while one of my favorite games to come out in a while, is very very mechanically poor.
The gunplay is pretty unsatisfying, and while the world design is great, the level design is disappointingly linear given it's a successor to Bioshock. Vigors are boring as hell compared to the variety in Plasmids, and weapons were just as boring as Bioshock's.

'gaming' hasn't become anything it's just that the medium has advanced far enough that anyone can do whatever the hell they want with games and that's a fantastic thing. no one is forcing you to play dear esther and gone home n shit you can just play classic 'gamey' games if you want - there's fuckin plenty of them
games can be used for all kinds of story telling now which is a great thing. you can use them in advertising, marketing, story-telling, education. it's exciting. don't be such a conservative downer

If I remember correctly, this is that game that Microsoft are paying YouTubers to promote. They paid videogamedunkey to do a video on it and when he jokingly criticised it they fired him from the job. That's probably why this guy is rimming the game.
