Police say Michael Ray James and Tina Alberson, both 42, denied him drinking water for at least five days at their Red Bird-area home beginning July 20, a time in which temperatures exceeded 100 degrees. They are being held in the Dallas County Jail, charged with injury to a child causing serious bodily injury.

"They day that he died, they made him eat a PBJ, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich,"Joseph said referring to his father and step-mother, "and the peanut butter got stuck in his throat and they still wouldn't let him have water."
But last month, the twins were staying with their father, Michael James, 42, and step-mother, Tina Alberson, 42, when Dallas Police say the couple deprived Jonathan of water as a form of punishment.
Joseph said his twin was in trouble because his father and step-mother thought he took guitar parts from their step-brother.
"They made him stand in front of a window," Joseph said. "They put an 'X' on the floor and an 'X' on the window and the sun was coming straight through it and there was no air conditioning there."
The abuse went on for five days, police said, with liquids being kept from Jonathan until the 10-year-old finally collapsed and died.
What.
the fuck
what the flying fuck
This is horrible itself of course
but holy shit what a terrible way to die
what the flying late
Something niggling at the back of my brain might possibly make me think these parents may not be as good at parenting as one would suspect.

The story came out today. Do you call news about a new prehistoric discovery late too because it's a prehistoric something?
Ok, it's been posted before, still, you can not be a dick about it.
How stupid do you have to be to not realize that if you deprive someone of water for five days, especially in the hot summer, that they will die.
You'd have to assume that the father and stepmother were either total dumb asses or trying to like, intentionally kill the kid hoping that it would look like he just dropped dead due to the heat or something.
I would be okay with the death penalty for the parents.

Am I a bad person?
Late.
But it won't bring the child back.
I'm thirsty now
The kid was more afraid of his parents than dying. If I were him I'd have left the house to get water.

If you were him you wouldn't be here

I would have left to get the police.

I would have died of dehydration.
no air conditioning there
Rich people problems.
But really what the fuck were the parents thinking of?
"Oh hey, we don't hit our kids we just deprive them of liquid?!?"
I wish we could see what a person will become in their future, when they are born. So we can prevent these people from breeding.
I hope the dad and step mother feel bad because of it
What cunts
my humor isnt dry enough to make a joke about this

Right.
Now this is a harsh punishment.
Well at least they removed their children from the gene pool, let's hope they remove themselves next.
Social darwinists are stupid. Please leave this thread.
They probably didn't know what even a day of dehydration causes.

I bet they do know, but they probably didn't care.
