Those shows are pretty late in the Toonami era. You gotta go back to basics: Reboot, Sailor Moon, DBZ, Tenchi Muyo, Gundam Wing.

Saw Akira the other day.
I felt a bit "what the fucking fuck" at certain times, but it was fantastic. Amazing story.
Cowboy Bebop was great. At first, I didn't really cared for it and even enjoyed Bleach and those kinds of shows. Then started getting into it and loved it because it wasn't obnoxious.
Nowadays I can't even hear about Bleach or Naruto and just remember how badass Spike was.
