France was already carrying out reconnaissance flights over Iraq and providing weapons to Kurdish fighters. President Hollande said on Thursday that French air strikes would only target the jihadist group's positions in Iraq, and not neighbouring Syria.
Im okay with this
Leave nothing left to bury.
The more strikes against those fuckheads, the better.
Don't bury your heads in the sand, bury your warheads instead!
Go you glorious French bastards!
I glanced at the title and thought it was airstrikes against US for a second and got confused.
Don't bury your heads in the sand, bury your warheads instead!
Actually any sort of mitigation (in this case bomb burial) will decrease munitions effectiveness on ground based targets, unless it's put into a building where mitigation is encouraged. Sorry to burst your bubble. But airburst munitions on the other hand...
nothing of value was lost that day
Totally okay with that.
nothing of value was lost that day
How can you say that?! Bombs are expensive!
"Hon hon hon! Here's some explosive baguettes!"
If at first you don't succeed...try, try agian? Idk, is this the approach to this whole "Iraq thing"?
"Hon hon hon! Here's some explosive baguettes!"
damn, sick joke
I don't believe we should be doing this. It's not that we have no interest in fighting IS, but we were on a pretty good streak of not intervening in the middle east for some time there, and just like this we're officially involved in this whole mess. This will be another Libya with more legions d'honneur given out than soldier parachuted into enemy territory, but everyone knows how much our intervention has helped Lybia on the long run.
