A few moments ago I was sitting on my toilet when I felt something brush my foot.
Mid-shit, I look down and see THIS motherfucker sitting an inch from my foot.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT THING. It freaked me the hell out. I've never seen anything like this here in Massachusetts and I just moved from Florida too.
I screamed like a little girl when I saw it and got the fuck out of there.
I knew I had to kill it but it was so big it was like I didn't want to kill it. I normally don't have any problem killing bugs but it was just so large it was like trying to kill a puppy.

P.S. Should I expect to see more? I am scared to sleep now.
I forget the name, but I'm pretty sure it's a species of centipede.

Should I expect to see more?
Yes.
Run.
Ahaha I saw one of those in my bath tub a few years ago.
Unfortunately for him I was actually in the bathroom to draino the tub.
It didn't end well for the bug.
No fucking idea what it is though.
Yep, I was right, centipede.
Scutigera coleoptrata
Or house centipede.
Scutigera coleoptrata
(Scutigeromorpha: Scutigeridae)
Scutigeromorpha
The Scutigeromorpha are anamorphic, reaching 15 leg-bearing segments in length. They are very fast creatures, and able to withstand falling at great speed: they reach up to 15 body lengths per second when dropped, surviving the fall. They are the only centipede group to retain their original compound eyes, with which a crystalline layer analogous to that seen in chelicerates and insects can be observed. They also bear long and multi-segmented antennae. Adaptation to a burrowing lifestyle has led to the degeneration of compound eyes in other orders. This feature is of great use in phylogenetic analysis. The group is the sole extant representative of the Notostigmomorpha, defined by having a single spiracle opening at the posterior of each dorsal plate. The more derived groups bear a plurality of spiracular openings on their sides, and are termed the Pleurostigmomorpha. Some even have several unpaired spiracles that can be found along the mid-dorsal line and closer to their posterior section of tergites. There are three families: Psellioididae, Scutigeridae and Scutigerinidae
Those are house centipedes. Most of the time they only come out at night. They hide in small dark spaces like under refrigerators. So yes, there are probably more hiding in your house.
Kill it, cook it, eat it.
Might as well :v:
Now that I know it eats bugs and (even worse than them) spiders I am sad I killed him now :(
Edit: But god dammit it had to pop up when I was pooping.
Edit 2: Why couldn't I find it in a hallway or something it just had to be right where I shower and and stuff in the morning.
hello
That is fucking creepy.
-snip-
I remember the last time my sister saw one of those in our house. I was on xbox with some friends online, and she came in panicking so bad, screaming and crying, and even screamed "It's gonna eat meee!". We laughed so hard.
i suddenly don't feel like eating anymore :ohdear:

I remember seeing one of those on a Japanese Bug Fighting website.
It got the shit kicked out of it by a species of Rhinocerous Beetle. I'll try and find the link...
You could have taken him under your care and fed him like in tha "Spider Friend" thread.
