Haven't played Lead and Gold, but Shattered Horizon is only fun for around a weekend or so, if even.
Shattered Horizon is the most underplayed, underrated game in the entire universe.
Installing SH now.
huh, every time I click "click here to play lead and gold now", it just sends me back to the app page. And they're not in my library...
Lead and Gold is cool. Shattered Horizon isn't.
Shattered Horizon is probably the game who has had the most free weekends. :v:
Lead and Gold is awesome, and definitely worth your time and money. Shattered Horizon... isn't. Ultimately, it really doesn't have anything going for it. There used to be a "do-everything" weapon which was at least a novel idea, but it got replaced by horribly generic weapons like a machine gun, a sniper, a pistol, etc. On top of that, the shooting generally feels awful and weirdly inert. Levels are bland, and the zero gravity effect is novel for five seconds until you realize you can't actually aim whilst moving through the air so you'll always end up sticking to solid ground anyways. Oh, and for all it's DirectX 10 exclusivity, it still manages to look pretty middling.
oh cool now I have someone to play SH with
Can't seem to work out how to download Lead and Gold, just takes me to the store page, I looked through my steam list and I cannot see it.

I felt like I could play many different ways, and had a new element to consider when playing. I guess it just appealed to me more since I've always dreamed of being in space, and was a huge fan of the "Ender's Game" series of books. It's a shame people didn't receive it as well as I did. It'd be nice to have more people to play with.

"Quickly! We're an indie developer with a decent game, how do we make it sell as poorly as possible!"
Outside of free-weekends, how popular is Lead&Gold?
It's OK. You can mostly find at least one or two servers with people playing. Sometimes it seems dead, but take into account the fact that, inexplicably, the server browser does not show full servers.
Shattered Horizon is the most underplayed, underrated game in the entire universe.
I got it for free. Installed it, and there were never many servers. :frown:
sweet, I just finished building my new PC.
Yes, I can kill a bunch of clueless players this weekend in Shattered Horizon :v:
Yes, I can kill a bunch of clueless players this weekend in Shattered Horizon :v:
That's pretty much how I felt the last free weekend
It's funny how the only two games that had free weekends in the past that I've played recently are getting another one again.
Installing SH now.
You need to add the last 2 words. IT
Shattered Horizon is probably the game who has had the most free weekends. :v:
Because it sucks.
Lead of gold looks good Already seen Shatterd Horizon
That's pretty much how I felt the last free weekend
Remember up is down is left is right that should help
Don't worry I'm not giving it another try :v: [editline]5th November 2010[/editline] I just got dizzy playing it
you really shouldn't say bad things about people's games i'll tell your mother to change your steam account password again as punishment
Heheheh. Anyway, anyone know why L&G is laggy as fuck? I can't even change the settings down to lower.
might get Lead and Gold, I love western games.
Shattered Horizon is the most underplayed, underrated game in the entire universe.
I'd say it's correctly rated. It feels like a gimmick, the gameplay just doesn't hold up for more than 10 minutes.
SH Is Awesome! Though it seems people only go for fucking Kill Death Ratio instead of the fucking caps!
Am I the only one who hated the shit out of Lead and Gold?
Am I the only one who hated the shit out of Lead and Gold?
No, because I hated it only due to the fact that majority of populated servers last free week end were unplayable, and crashed every minutes.
