There's illegal immigrants I would guess in every single state in the nation. Just a few days ago, I was reading about illegal immigration in my state, New Jersey.

I'm not sure of the exact law in Arizona in this regard, but the US Supreme Court has held that there is no requirement to prove who you are unless arrested, and then you need only state your name upon arrest. You cannot be held for not possessing your ID at a particular time, although you can be required to provide ID where safety is an issue (e.g. a driver's license when you had been driving). Typically, you must provide the ID within 24 hours.

Not all police officers, or even a majority of them, have to be racist for it to be a problem. Even officers not considered racist can have a bias against particular races without being aware of this bias.
