So I found my D.A.R.E. Essay from 5th grade - General

[IMG]http://puu.sh/21aof[/IMG] I was going through a trunk of old school work and found my D.A.R.E. essay from 5th grade. Gave me a good laugh. If you don't know, D.A.R.E. is a stupid campaign that they put kids through in elementary here in the states to teach them about how drugs are the devil. They make you write an "essay" about how you know drugs are bad before you can "graduate" and get a t-shirt and certificate. It sure did work like a charm.

oh man, i should try looking around for something like that. I think we had to do something like that way back when.

We have D.A.R.E. here in Canada too, but luckily I was never forced to take part in that bullshit.

I remember my drugs education when I was 12 made me want to do drugs because before that I had no Idea there were things that could make you see shit that wasn't there :v:

I actually just found mine yesterday, I'll post it up. God damn now that I look back they fucking tried to brainwash me. Whatever I knew it was bullshit and I knew I was going to eventually smoke weed anyways :v:

I wish I know what happened to my DARE shirt. I want to wear it while I smoke weed. I know someone who got pulled over with a few ounces in his vehicle and he had a previous arrest for drug trafficking. The cop asked him if he was trafficking any drugs this afternoon, he told him he was clean now and gestured to his DARE shirt he was wearing at the time. Cop wrote him a ticket and told him to have a nice day.

I never had to do DARE, but health class was almost as bad.

I never did any drug awareness in school... My school was shit.

My older brother went to Dare when we were kids but I never attended, though even as a kid I thought the idea of people telling me I couldn't do drugs if I desired seemed absurd. I remember the officer who was at the program seeming very confused with me when I told him that I had no intentions of doing drugs, but if I wanted to I would and I didn't care what him or his program said. Funny my brother grew up to be a dealer and most of the people I know who attended DARE just wound up being more knowledgeable drug users.

My DARE t-shirt still fits, i should start wearing it when i go to smoke :v:

Oh god I remember this shit in 6th grade. I was chosen to read mine in front of my math class. I forget but whoever had the best essay won something.
