Serious question. it appears that there is no straight answer on the internet.
My personal belief is its all bollocks.
But I feel if we had some affected by the syndrome we could get a factually accurate answer

More importantly, why in the world do you think this is true?
It started off about 3 years ago. A friend of mine, he is of a less than natural height, made a joke saying he could see in the dark as he was a dwarf.
As my friends where laughing i was pondering if this was an actual possibility.
It may go with the whole every human being is equal thing. His lack of vertical size could have been made up for by a surplus of vitamin A.
After some research I posed the question to him, He said he didn't have anyway of actually testing this. Because (as far as i know) there is no way of measuring the quality of a beings night vision.
So the question went unanswered for many months. Until i heard the same joke made by Warwick Davis.
This got me thinking.
