Just another high school dropout here that didn't make it past his sophomore year, recently I've been doing my own studying and research on areas that are required to be learned in order for me to pass said test.
This isn't so much about school as it is education, which sounds hypocritical, but I was wondering if there are any dudes out there that may already have or are getting said GED that could tell me what they're doing or what they've already done to pass and receive this shit excuse for a diploma.
For me I live up in the east coast area of the US, and I'm aware of how difficult it is to find a decent job if you don't take that GED and push it towards getting a degree at a community college.
So FP, what's your experience with this & any thoughts?
I have a diploma and I took a GED test for the hell of it but to get anywhere in this miserable world today you need college.
Well I'm more along the lines of pursuing a military career / security detail and contracting because of my own preferences and my endurance. Although if that doesn't work out it's possible for me to take what I get from the army and enroll into college.. I hope.
