So i live in Montreal and apparently there's been an uproar about tuition increases. I'm not sure if it's a Quebecois thing (their tuition is dirt cheap anyhow so i don't see why they're so mad) or if it affects us all. I'm not sure what universities it applies to either.

I support their cause, since i think tuition should be low. But the Quebecois have a reputation for being really whiny about everything. Quebec has the Canadian government by the testicles and every time something doesn't go their way they pitch a shit-fit.
That said, i'm not sure if this movement was Quebecois or not. It seems to me like the majority of the mouthy assholes on the streets were primarily french because of their accent. They kept heckling the riot cops about democracy and bullshit like that.
