Interesting.
Why particularly Sweden?

TL;DR: I'm fucking happy to live in this timeline.
You need to chill out with all your space threads
We have the best generation to live in. How boring of a timeline for the others, nothing all to exciting.
Real breakthroughs on the way. :D
You need to chill out with all your space threads
Because this is totally a space thread.
He lives in Sweden, so it is most advanced.
Finally a prediction that isn't overestimating everything.

the generation ahead of us will have it even better, we're just part of the acceleration period
You forgot 2012.
At first i thought the first dates were starting at 2000 and 2001 because i thought it might be starting off at the beginning of the century. Then i was like no way, thats impossible.
Then i was like :ohdear: i was wrong.
Interesting timeline, yes, but me not able to read it correctly no. :downs:
Edited: If 2012 was real, [i dont belive it, so dont flame me about how im stupid for thinking it will happen] the list would be as followed
2012- End of world (Caused by human insane-ness(?) and violent acts due to prior belief of the ending of the world occurring on 2012 due to the cutoff date from the Mayan calendar
2012+ - N/A

medical tech is advancing so much a lot of us may live through 2100
which is gonna be pretty kickass
2048 better be a damn good year
I wonder if mind uploading/life extension/etc. will be possible in our lifetimes.
I would really like to see what happens next :shobon:
medical tech is advancing so much a lot of us may live through 2100

i don't want to be an old fogy longer than those that lived in previous generations, being a youth during all of this technological development would be sick though
Why particularly Sweden?
[editline]03:31AM[/editline]

Because Sweden is one of the few countries, if not the only to have over 40% of its energy coming from renewable sources.
October 23, 2077 - Everyones fucked.

2020 sounds a little farfetched if you ask me
2020 sounds a little farfetched if you ask me
You would be surprised at how close we are to some of this stuff...
2020 sounds a little farfetched if you ask me
You can discover amazing things with technology in short times. It's very possible.
2020 sounds a little farfetched if you ask me
Why is that?
texting by thinking? Ehhhh sounds a bit iffy for only 10 years. Other than that it sounds pretty plausible though.
Life surely will be very boring then.
very cool.. but i can't say that
i believe that in 2095 a good portion of the languages
of our world will be gone.
different cultures and traditions will always be around
for countries thats what seperates us from total globalization..
2053...makes me think of the film, "Gattaca".
Why particularly Sweden?
Because Sweden isn't full of greedy, right-wing, ruthless oil corporations.
Designer babies will never happen, it will be highly illegal and if rich people do do it, it could cause evolutionary problems in the near future.

Yet another one of your "throw something up, quote it, and want people to discuss" thread, eh?
