My former VDOT 95 GMC 1500 with a 6.5 V8 Diesel (no turbo wtf) 35 (approx) gallon tank, State kept it pretty well maintained except the interior was at the bottom of the priority list.btw the truck came orange and the ranger fans at my school made fun of it kinda like that dickhead from the beginning of Tokyo drift with the viper (I bet I'd beat them all in a tug of war) IMG_0452li by D.JONES06, on Flickr
Looks like a neat little truck, seems to be sitting a little bit low though :P Small 2 door trucks are always the best at offroading, aside from jeeps. If you're into that kind of thing, anyways. Your last sentence kinda reminds me of the guys at my school. Took one look at my beater RX-7 and laughed their asses off, then pulled up next to a hotshot Jock and kicked his ass when the light turned green. Didn't hear anything else from them after that :D

I would love to have a black undercover Crown Vic Interceptor.

solution, buy it and get it painted black
I'd love to get an ex-military Land Rover that has armour plating. [editline]2nd November 2011[/editline] http://www.mod-sales.com/direct/vehicle/,82,/37043/Land_Rover.htm
I love the idea that you can get cheap ex-government and ex-police cars on the free market in the US. Getting a V8 Crown Vic Interceptor for $2500 and keeping it as a 'weekend' car appeals massively. In the UK you can get ex-police cars as well, but all the really desirable ones (V6 Omegas, Vectras, BMWs etc.) are all used as pursuit cars, so you can bet they'll have been thrashed to within an inch of their lives on many occasions - and the standard bobby cars are crap like 1.6L Vauxhall Astra diesels.

Lemon did it
I'd love to get my hands on a CHIPS KZ1000.
2012 Ford Taurus looks fucking sexy
This was my old 2002 Impala 9c1. It was a fun car, fast as fuck. It only had the 3.8 In it, but the police transmission allowed it to have high RPM shifts for increased power. It was decent on gas. I drove it like 90 mph everywhere I went..Thats no joke. It handled like a beast. I never got pulled over, even doing 35 over past a speed trap. edit: also pulled someone over once, they were pissed to see I was not a cop when I drove by. editedit: also got into a car chase when I got sideswiped by a retarded handicapped kid driving his dads Lincoln town car on a backroad near my house. I stopped to get his information, but he got scared and ran (not literally, he was handicapped) So i chased him, backwards..since I didnt have time to turn around until i was able to do a J turn into a driveway and drive forward again... Now that I type this it sounds like a real bullshit story, like REALLY bullshit. but it happened. you can ask my mom, she was in the passenger seat with me. I took her out for an icecream cone that evening and we were on our way home.. I guess no good deed goes unpunished. But I did get a nice 2,000 dollar check for the damage ;) it only costed 900 to replace, muaha Editeditedit i wasnt joking
Generally speaking government vehicles are well maintained but, are beat to hell and back.
cant wait for these to go on sale ooh, my city is already upgrading to the 2012 version
My local used car dealership is selling this
I'd finance that holy shit
That kind of mileage for that price? Buy that shit
I've always wanted a Deuce and a half. It would be the coolest thing to own, but its not very practical. Max speed is around 55 and the amount of diesel it would burn would destroy anyone's wallet. it would be cool as fuck to own if you could afford it, though.
My local used car dealership is selling this
Dat VIN#
My local used car dealership is selling this
I would love to buy that and drive around my local town and scare the fuck out of people. Edit: Also, it's parked in a handicapped spot. :v:
My local used car dealership is selling this
Those aren't Diesels, they're "Multi Fuel" engines. You can run them on Motor oil, Kerosene, and...Diesel. I'd drive it. :v:
The M35A2 is popularly powered by a LDT 465 engine, made by either Continental Motors Company, Hercules, or White Motor Company. It is an in-line, 478-cubic-inch (7.8 L), 6 cylinder, turbocharged multifuel engine developing 134 bhp (100 kW) and 330 foot-pounds force (447 N·m) of torque. This is coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission and divorced 2-speed transfer case (either a sprag-operated transfer case Rockwell 136-21 or air-operated selectable transfer case Rockwell 136-27). Multifuel engines are designed to operate reliably on a wide variety of fuels, to include diesel fuel, jet fuel, kerosene, heating oil or gasoline. Gasoline should only be used in an emergency because it does not properly lubricate the injector pump. While using gasoline, common practice calls for the addition of at least 1 U.S. quart of clean motor oil per 15 U.S. gallons of gasoline (1 imp qt/13 imp gal; 1 L/60 L) for proper pump lubrication where available.
Wooo 7.8L and only 134hp [editline]28th November 2011[/editline]
I've always wanted a Deuce and a half. That's because it's a diesel not a gasoline, it's very high compression with slow rotation meant for pumping out ass-fuck-shit-ton loads of torque, not horsepower. [editline]28th November 2011[/editline] 4 cylinder CAT engine that they use in big rigs and the like, that my dad works on, pumps out 100 horsepower and 1000 ft. pounds so.
My uncle's SRT-10 Ram is an ex-interceptor. His county sold it because it ate gasoline like a fat kid at a buffet. The fucker will ruuuun too. 0-60 in 4 seconds, steel wheels, brushbar, black paint. It's fucking sexy.
