So what do you think of the movie so far? Me being a fan of the series, owning all the books, and owning the first movie, you can tell I'm going to watch this movie, but this does look worse than the first film in my opinion. They use a lot of scenes from The Last Straw book, making look like they're forging both books together or something. I'm going to see it tomorrow after school. Write you thoughts about the movie in the comments below .
facepalm
Its going to suck like the first one
Eh, it looks like it's surprisingly tolerable. I thought the first movie was alright, never having read the books, and my youngest sister rather enjoyed it.
Probably a wait to rent flick, though.
The whole mom-bucks thing entertains me, however. My mum used to do the same thing... with stickers.
[sp]I had a shitton of stickers.[/sp]
Oh boy, yet another family movie I have absolutely no intentions of seeing.
Okay, guys. Just got back from the movie. Much better than the first movie. The bond between Rodrick and Greg was great, I like how [sp]Greg and Holly really got to understand each other[/sp], and how [sp]Greg tries to do things that he thinks is embarrassing in order to help those around him including himself[/sp]. Definitely watch this movie if you're a "Wimpy Kid" fan.

No. Just a fan of the books. What's wrong with that? I'm just stating my opinions on how I thought of the movie. That's all.
The only reason I liked DOAWK was because it was nice knowing there's a fictional kid my age, who grew up in the same type of family whose life sucked even more then mine at that age.
The books are actually a good read. Yes they are kids books and you can get through it in like an hour, but you'll chuckle to yourself plenty.

Same thing with my family. It's just nice to see a book you can relate to from your past, or even your present days.
