THE execution of Jang Song Thaek, the No. 2 man in North Korea, took Beijing by surprise and will adversely affect bilateral relations.Beijing's displeasure is expressed through the publication of a detailed account of Jang's brutal execution in Wen Wei Po, its official mouthpiece, in Hong Kong, on Dec 12.
According to the report, unlike previous executions of political prisoners which were carried out by firing squads with machine guns, Jang was stripped naked and thrown into a cage, along with his five closest aides. Then 120 hounds, starved for three days, were allowed to prey on them until they were completely eaten up. This is called "quan jue", or execution by dogs.
The report said the entire process lasted for an hour, with Mr Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader in North Korea, supervising it along with 300 senior officials.
Small article so I just posted the whole thing. Searched up and down SH and didn't see this posted.
what the fuck
Holy shit.
The UN is going to be writing the angriest letter ever conceived.
The Kim dynasty just keeps getting worse with every successor.
This story is made up.
Kim obviously ate him.
That sounds like a horrible way to die wow.

I was thinking this too and that it had to be a joke.
Let's not forget that the dogs themselves suffered before the execution.
He sounds more and more like a movie villain
I just imagined Kim Jung Un sitting on a chair, calmly watching his uncle get ripped to shreds by a bunch of hounds
That's pretty fucked up.

Petting a bald cat.
Snipped. You will never find the evidence...

Forget the millions of people living there that suffer every day and the portion of them that get executed publicly frequently, 120 dogs were starved for three days!
I doubt the authenticity of this story. It is the only site to report on this being the case (edit: other articles just use this as their source), and it cites its source as Wen Wei Po, a Chinese publication that has a history of at best being semi-reliable in the accuracy of its reporting. It doesn't help that I can't find the specific report the article references.
Also, 120 dogs? Just think about that for a second. There are too many red flags for me to take this seriously.
I am going to wait when the roman times come back again to see who will claim kim jung's throne. Maybe another one of his family memeber's or a raid from undead roman's who appear to build advanced weaponry from our technology onto guns and their weapons and armor. As you may know what the fuck did you just read ? If you said that well I go out of context so...
yeah what the hell did i just read?
Wow this is some super-villain shit.
120 hounds? Wouldn't they just attack eachother if they're starved and that many?
Sounds like something the Emperor of Qin would have done.

I'm aware of the situation in the North. It's just that starving 150 dogs seemed odd.
But then again, what isn't odd there?
Thought for a second that Kim Jong Un ate him to gain his power and courage.

He was probably too cowardly to watch it and was off getting his ass drunk or high or both.
I can't imagine a fat slob like Kim Jong Un actually having the guts to watch an execution.

Well, according to the article he was supervising in. But with 300 people beside him he could have been eating a Big Mac in a corner of the room for all we know.

"Supervising" can mean he just said the word then turned around and left.

Yeah, uh...that's pretty much what I just said
If those 120 dogs were starved why didn't they eat each other?
If those 120 dogs were starved why didn't they eat each other?
same reason why starving lion prides don't eat each other, or why packs of dolphin don't eat each other. cannibalism is an absolute last resort for most species.
Then 120 hounds, starved for three days, were allowed to prey
Didn't he give the order when he was drunk or something? If that was the case then there's gotta be a reason why he didn't call it off.
Kim Jong Un's son is going to get a shark pit. Calling it now.

NO SON. Only I am allowed to suckle from your mother's teat!
To the shark pit!

Possibly because going back on his word would damage his "glorious god-leader" image?
