A TV series based on DREDD? We should make that happen.
136,000 people have already signed the petition calling for more DREDD – and we think Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, or another TV studio would be ideal.
So our campaign is being reborn as Bring Back Dredd!
We want to apply pressure to Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO, and the other networks to pick up the franchise.
There are hundreds of thousands of fans across the globe, so let’s show them that a DREDD TV series for an adult audience – retaining all of the violence, intensity, and character of the movie – is what we want!
We believe that the success of series such as Daredevil and Jessica Jones proves the market for adult-orientated sci-fi, which Dredd provided in spades.
So we’re calling on fans to add their names to the petition for more media based on the Pete Travis and Alex Garland movie
The petition can be signed at www.2000ADonline.com/dreddsequel
The campaign’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/BringBackDredd now has more than 100,000 supporters while Karl Urban and Olivia Thirlby have both sent the campaign messages of support.
It'd be fantastic if Netflix picked it up... we can only hope. :/

If it worked for Deadpool, surely it should work on Dredd... right? :'/
Yeah, Urban or bust. He's perfect for the role.
Ah yes Urban, teaching us the proper way to frown.

Needs Adi Shankar as well, that guy did his best to get the movie made properly.
Even had an animated short based on the comics done

Damn, I just watched it again an hour ago and it's perfect. I hope they get the same director, that film was gritty and colorful at the same time.
I thought Netflix confirmed a few months ago that a Dredd TV-series was being worked on?

April fools article, according to the source page.
Everyone's favorite Slo-Mo guy and Achievement Hunter Gavin Free did some film work for Dredd
Dredd was amazing when I watched it at the Cinema, a great Reboot.
A Series would work good because the whole aspect of Mega City One and the baddies in Dredd anyway are just great.
Dark Judges when.
so, Cursed Earth or Apocalypse War miniseries first?
a netflix series would be the perfect way to continue dredd, i hope this happens!
Only if Karl Urban returns. Sure, he sends his support, but hopefully he reprises the character.
Kind of unfair there, but fuck who doesn't want more of DREDD? And he did quite nail the role in the 2012 movie. I liked how the helmet never came off.
Never thought of it as a series, but that might mean I get to see some wild wasteland life outside of the mega-cities too, which I always wanted to see. (Assuming anything or anyone lives outside the cities.)

I recommend you check out the Cursed Earth story arc from the comic, it's pretty great
Remember Almost Human(RIP)? And when they had the big wall that it was never revealed what was behind it? Considering all the JD like aspects I bet they were gonna end up having a Cursed Earth arc.
