Just spent 30 hours rendering, forgot to check "save file"... HELP

Is there any way to save the video 3ds max rendered AFTER it's been rendered?
Record the video with camstudio or whatever.
How do i get to the video?
Replay it?
How do I replay it?

You can't do that.
Looks like I am fucked and have to spend 30 hours rendering 8 seconds of animation again?

You aren't being helpful at all. If you can't give him a clear answer, and I have no idea what you mean by "replay" an unsaved video file, then don't post something so useless.

why is it 30 hours? But yeah
Because it's high quality with a semi large amount of polygons.
Nope. 3DS Max only caches the last rendered frame.
It warns you with the following:
"You're rendering a sequence, with no file specified. Any frames will be lost. Are you sure you want to continue?"

Wait he's talking about Max? Read it as Blender. Hah, cant do nothing about that then.

Too bad it doesn't do that if you have a file specified but not the box checked.
This doesn't make sense. Are you saying Max just renders things without actually giving any output?

By default yes. You specify an output before you begin a non-still image render. You have to be careful, though it does warn you.
Also I NEVER save anything directly as a video file. I save them as still pngs and then composite them together. Much better solution.
