I have noticed that no one here seems to know how to use these words. The poor grammar that has been used here lately needs to be fixed. There is a place, as in "set that over there". Their is the possessive form of "they". They're is the contraction for "they are". Your is the possessive form of "you". You're is the contraction of "you are". Please fix your posts accordingly. Feel free to make posts about other common grammar mistakes.
Most posts on Facepunch use them correctly.

Sticky this shit
Looks like someone finally snapped about rampant errors in you're spelling style, I think your just going crazy. Who gave me a box, I was trying to play on the theme of this thread, I know I spelled them wrong...

Thanks.
uhh you're a dumbe
Common sense. Your an idiot.
I've noticed a lot of people mixing up "where" and "were". Add that too.
I love English specifically for this reason, because even the simple emphasis on a single word in a long sentence can entirely change the meaning of a sentence. Plus our hard on for words that sound alike.
Don't forget "its" and "it's." It's = it is its = posessive.
What a desperate excuse to make a thread...damn attention whores.
What a desperate excuse to make a thread...damn attention whores.
What a desperate attempt at looking cool, or not an 08er, or not a homosexual, whatever.
I know right, you're English class in middle school should have taught you all this shit. Its not that hard to use proper grammar here.
your a coll guy thanks for the grammer tips :3:
If you speak English there's no excuse of not knowing this. Which is sad considering a lot of English speakers don't.
Your really smart. Thanks for helping me out.
Should add in a lot, at least, as long, and as well. People use all of those as one word, which is incorrect, especially "alot".

i plowed youre mum last night
I don't get how something like this can be so hard for some people.
Don't forget "its" and "it's." It's = it is its = posessive.
What about "it's bed" when you cannot tell when someone is male or female, example Lady GaGa.
Extension to this: Than and then. Then deals with either a cause-and-effect statement, e.g. If you're retarded then you say than. Than deals with comparison, e.g. I'm smarter than you, my gun is bigger than yours, etc.
I hate when people mix 'then' with 'than' "I have more monsters then you" instead of "I have more monsters than you" Pisses me off

i dont care about there their they're your and you're, and you're just looks dumb (User was permabanned for this post ("Your banned again, they're." - ventilated))
I consider this base knowledge and I think less of people who cannot use they're words correctly, there unintelligent. What's that over their?
