• ABC is back in the spotlight: Two kinds of people, those who work for us and those who don't!
•No outside Food or Beverages may be brought inside ABC: This could be a problem if you’re like the former waitress who admitted to never having the urge to pay out of pocket to eat the grub there. • Any type of attitude will result in immediate termination: Practice your robot faces. • No purses or bags are allowed inside ABC, (exceptions may be made) however upon leaving a designated employee of ABC has the legal right and consent to inspect any and all packages that you may have brought with you: Good thing cardboard boxes are the new clutch! • At no point is any food or any type of open beverage allowed in the kitchen. This is a direct Health Code Violation: So what is the staff cooking in there? • No visiting or unnecessary talking is allowed during your work shift. This causes distractions and results in loss of product. Any may result in possible harm to you, or to others: Just assume your pal’s weekend was fine, no asking required. • Holidays and Weekends are Mandatory, by signing this contract you are accepting that you will be required to work all Holidays, and Weekends. Due to the nature of our Industry this is a necessity and any No-Show will be monetarily penalized with a fee of $250.00: Adios, Grandma’s famous Thanksgiving turkey. And the pièce de résistance, quite possibly the least surprising given the owners love of the “your tips are our tips” policy: • The wait staff understands that any and all “tips” are property of the “house.” By signing this contract, you agree that you willingly accept a payment of $8.00 to $12.00 per hour to ensure that you will receive some type of payment. Due to the volatile nature of any retail business we are unable to predict when we will have buissness ([sic].By signing this contact you agree that you are willfully accepting a payment of $___ per hour instead of tips.
Also, I believe it is confirmed that they are shooting their own reality tv show. ABC made me think of the American/Australian broadcasting company to be frank with you
Wow, what a nightmare. Run far, far away from working for those psychopaths.
ABC made me think of the American/Australian broadcasting company to be frank with you
I was a little concerned about the acronym now that you mention it, sorry for the confusion. It seems like I can't change the title...
I don't think they'll get any applications. Not unless they applicant is that desperate for a job.
I don't understand tips anyway. Why can't the company just pay the employees a proper wage, and not rely on the customers to make the rest up?
One rule on the Bouzaglo’s contract notes that if an employee resigns or is terminated, they are not to work at “any competitor within a 50 mile radius of ABC within one year of termination or voluntary resignation,” which is virtually unheard of in the service industry.
Oh jesus, I'm in bits here. How the hell do they plan to enforce that?
This sounds like satire, are they for real for real?
Oh jesus, I'm in bits here. How the hell do they plan to enforce that?
pretty sure they cant and its just crazy dick waving these people have fucking issues
This sounds like satire, are they for real for real?
Some appear just to be comments from the writer of the article, but knowing ABC, I bet the rules are real.
And they're wanting to make a reality show. It's going to happen. They're going to have a reality show that panders to the masses of lower IQ'd people, and someone is going to broadcast and make it, and they're going to make millions of dollars because ABC is owned by assholes who hate their employees and customers. Good job, society.

Half of these are fucking worker's rights violations, I hope shit goes down. Also their turnover rate will become RIDICULOUS.
I don't understand tips anyway. Why can't the company just pay the employees a proper wage, and not rely on the customers to make the rest up?
It lowers cost for the restaurant and gives waiters incentive to work hard/provide a good experience for the customer.
Why hasn't Amy Baking company been shut down yet?
Why people chose to give that place business or even apply there (given the reputation) is beyond me. For Christmas sakes people, do everyone a favor and fuck off from the shitty establishment.
Oh jesus, I'm in bits here. How the hell do they plan to enforce that?
My old employer had the same rule, it is some kind of anti-competition rule and is not uncommon really when it comes to the food industry.
It lowers cost for the restaurant and gives waiters incentive to work hard/provide a good experience for the customer.
So they don't get tips, they work all holidays, their bosses are the awful, and can get fired for innocently asking "are you sure? " There's zero incentives to a remotely good job at this establishment.
I'd apply there and work for a bit and then quit and apply for a competitor next to them just to piss them off :v:
It lowers cost for the restaurant and gives waiters incentive to work hard/provide a good experience for the customer.
That shouldn't permit the restaurant to pay waiters less than minimum wage.
That shouldn't permit the restaurant to pay waiters less than minimum wage.
Most restaurants are like that, get over it.
That shouldn't permit the restaurant to pay waiters less than minimum wage.
Except the two people I know that make tips at restaurants make far more than minimum wage at the end of the week, when factoring in tips. I don't know why you're making an argument for them, they make more money this way.
That shouldn't permit the restaurant to pay waiters less than minimum wage.
They get more money, it helps the employers, and it's usually minimal money on the customer's part. Don't you want to give money to people who do a good job?
Can someone give me a little back story on these guys? I had no internet when they were all the buzz.
Can someone give me a little back story on these guys? I had no internet when they were all the buzz.
There was a Kitchen Nightmares episode which started the buzz, try searching for "Kitchen Nightmares Amy's baking company" and see if you can find it.
The most blurry pdf file I have ever seen!

She made my paycheck nearly every day, it was nuts.
