During a Q&A session at Dallas Comic-Con, Kevin Conroy has announced that he has been working on the “Next Arkham game” for the past “nine or ten months”. He discusses the Non-Disclosure Agreement that the actors signed and the success of the games briefly at the beginning of the Q&A.
http://www.arkhamverse.com/news/2013/05/kevin-conroy-will-be-voicing-batman-in-batman-arkham-origins-dallas-comic-con/
Now get Mark Hamill on board as well and we are set. Regardless of Hamill's presence in the game this is great.
well, it seems expected that he would voice him, considering hes been doing it for a while, and the latest arkham games have been a success

. . .I just came.
I cry tears of joy
And all is well in the world of the Batman games
It wouldn't be Batman without Kevin Conroy.

Like, the tutorial for countering is grabbing a flailing punch from Hood and throwing him off a catwalk. Then we segue into the main story and it's never mentioned again, because from Batman's point of view it was just a standard perp bust.

Have the achievement be "One bad day" or something.
Kevin Conroy has announced that he has been working on the “Next Arkham game” for the past “nine or ten months”
How the hell can a voice actor put THAT much work into a video game?
How the hell can a voice actor put THAT much work into a video game?
maybe there's a lot of dialogue in the game?
Casuals would be thinking "woah this guy sounds just like the Joker" It'd be perfect. Even in KJ Joker says that the "Red Hood" story isn't confirmed to be true, but just a multiple choice thing. As cool as it would be, I wouldn't like it.

Speaking of continuity, how did Barbara become crippled in the Arkham universe? Is it set in stone that the Joker did it?
its a shame [sp]they killed off the joker[/sp] because Mark Hamill is the best joker voice over
Whoo! My day just got better.

The whole point of the Red Hood from the beginning was that they could stick any unfortunate shlub in the outfit to distract guys like Batman, and the "character" has actually had "comebacks" because of that, so unless[sp]the scene where he takes off the hood after he escapes and sees his disfigurements[/sp]is shown it'd still be up in the air as to whether it was that time with that person.
its a shame [sp]they killed off the joker[/sp] because Mark Hamill is the best joker voice over
It's a prequel to the Arkham series, so that's not a problem. Has there been any word on Paul Dini having any involvement? He's hands down the best writer Batman has ever had.
Wait. What if he meant he had been working on the next Arkham game that Rocksteady was making, not Arkham Origins? Remember, the whole reason Origins exists is to give Rocksteady more time to work on the real sequel (it was confirmed in Game Informer's cover story, if you didn't know).
How the hell can a voice actor put THAT much work into a video game?
Seeing as how he's been doing the character for literally two decades, they may have allowed him some creative input.
How the hell can a voice actor put THAT much work into a video game?
voice acting is a very drawn out/slow process I think adam jensens voice actor did dialogue for dx:hr for like 4 years or something
How the hell can a voice actor put THAT much work into a video game?
It's actually very common for any voice acting gig to last that long if not longer. Especially for a game as big as the Arkham series. Sometimes it can measure up to years like what Clio said with Elias Toufexis playing Adam Jensen for 4 years. Hell, Elias himself said he didn't even know what game he was working on for the majority of the recordings.

On the other hand, if I am not mistaken Rocksteady is allegedly working on a Justice League game so he may be writing for that.
