• Money through DIY?

Hello - I've never really posted in this subforum, but I thought it'd be appropriate to do this here. I'm interested in DIY stuff and making/building stuff - and in recent times i'm in need of some cash. Do any of you guys have any ideas of things I could do for not only money, but for the sake of doing it as well? I apologize if this is not appropriate for this subforum. Thanks in advance.
Well, what can you do already? I.E. - what can you make? Also, what kind of money are you looking to make, or how much you need. And what kind of shop/area do you have to do work in?
I've got experience with electronics, power tools, various techniques of painting, and some construction. It doesn't really matter how much I make, I'd like to do this stuff not only for practice and to occupy time, but for some spare cash as well - so I don't care how much to make, but more is better, I guess. I've got a garage with various tools, grinders, dremels and I have a soldering kit.
I'm sure there is something that can be made of the various talents and tools you posess, but the real problem is actually selling what you have made. Whatever it is, it has to feel like no one else could have made it themselves. You can always create nice looking components for audio crossover in the automotive field. That's just an idea of something simple that sells easily. It's really more up to what you are interested in making.
Look at the guy who does the speaker boxes and bakelite radios, he sells the for pretty money.
